SUMMARY:Nebraska 4-H Online Insect ID Contest

DESCRIPTION:The Nebraska 4-H Online Insect Identification Contest provides 
 an opportunity for participants to put their entomological knowledge to th
 e test. The contest consists of insect identification and multiple-choice 
 questions. Participants will gain knowledge about insects and entomology t
 hrough this competition. This contest can serve as practice for county con
 tests and the State Fair 4-H Insect Identification Contests. Contact your 
 local Extension office for more information about county-level Insect Iden
 tification Contests.\n\nThe contest is open to all youth\, as well as adul
 ts. Youth do not need to be enrolled 4-H members to participate. The conte
 st will be available from Friday\, June 24 through Monday\, June 11\, 2022

 nity to write a speech or a public service announcement (PSA) that incorpo
 rates the topic of 4-H and deliver it to an audience. The 4-H Public Speak
 ing Contest helps youth develop skills for communicating about current iss
 ues to real audiences\, learn how to organize and prepare a speech\, devel
 op speech delivery skills\, learn how to present themselves to others\, an
 d develop self-confidence.
