Zaria Parvez
Duolingo, Global Social Media Manager
As a direct result of Zaria’s work on Duolingo’s TikTok strategy and execution, the now-famous TikTok channel grew from 50K followers in September 2021 to 4.9M followers today. The Duolingo TikTok has 54 viral videos (view counts of 1M or higher) due to Zaria’s creativity. What started as a test-and-learn initiative has become Duolingo’s most successful social buzz and word of mouth initiative to date – all because of Zaria’s insights, instincts, and expertise. More broadly, Zaria is a role model for a new, diverse class of Gen Z social media talent and has proven what’s possible when given creative freedom and trust in the work she does.

Ziad Ahmed
JUV Consulting, CEO; Forbes 30 Under 30
Ziad is a 23-year-old entrepreneur. He is the CEO/Founder of JUV Consulting, a Gen Z company that works with clients to help them connect with young people. JUV has worked with over 30 Fortune 500 companies, has been profiled by the New York Times, and has launched major purpose-driven TikTok campaigns. Because of JUV, Ziad was named to the 2019 Forbes #30Under30 list when he was 19-years-old for his work in the field of marketing/advertising. Ziad also recently graduated from Yale, where he focused his research on social media’s impact on progressive policy-making. Additionally, Ziad is the Founder of Redefy, a youth-run non-profit committed to furthering equality. He speaks often on the power of his generation, and he seeks to use his voice to push the envelope forward wherever/however possible. Overwhelmingly though, he’s just another Gen Zer spending way too much time on TikTok. You can learn more about him via @ziadahmed.
