Join us online via Zoom to learn more about earning a masters or doctoral degree in biomedical sciences from the University at Albany School of Public Health. Faculty will be available to talk with you about the curriculum, signature research strengths, the admissions and application process, funding opportunities, and our one-of-a-kind partnership with the New York State Department of Health.
Examples of research areas include antibiotic resistance strategies in Mycobacteria and Staphylococcus, antibody development against bacterial toxins, insect-pathogen interactions in mosquito and tick species, and developing methods to detect HIV-2 infection. Research is supported by funding from NIH grants that cover student stipend and tuition is provided by the university.
