Faculty will be available to talk with you about the curriculum, signature research strengths, the admissions and application process, funding opportunities, and our one-of-a-kind partnership with the New York State Department of Health.

Examples of research areas include antibiotic resistance strategies in Mycobacteria and Staphylococcus, antibody development against bacterial toxins, insect-pathogen interactions in mosquito and tick species, and developing methods to detect HIV-2 infection. Research is supported by funding from NIH grants that cover student stipend and tuition is provided by the university.
