The Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center is hosting a screening of “Before Homosexuals” followed by a question and answer session with the documentary’s director, John Scagliotti. Scagliotti has also directed well-known documentaries “Before Stonewall” and “After Stonewall”, and the PBS series “In the Life.” “Before Homosexuals” takes the viewer on a wondrous tour of same-sex desire from ancient times to Victorian crimes. Inspired by gay liberation, historians and artists join Emmy Award-winner Scagliotti on this revel in recent erotic discoveries.
