This presentation is designed to prepare instructors for the beginning of the semester. We will discuss strategies that can be implemented in preparation for and during the first week of class. The pedagogical strategies will help remove barriers to student learning, incorporate essential Canvas features and templates, begin building course community, and facilitate student engagement with their peers, the instructor, and course content.
