Kelly Keogh, a Chicago, Ill native, attended the University of Nebraska -Lincoln and graduated from the J-school in 2014.
After graduation she got a full-time internship with the Chicago Blackhawks. She worked for a year and a half in the media relations department, where she was a part of the team’s 2014-15 season and run to winning the Stanley Cup.
In October, 2015 Kelly landed a full-time job with the New York Islanders and is currently working in the team’s hockey operations offices in PR/communications. This is her fifth season with the Islanders and sixth in the National Hockey League.
Kelly is a Lisle, Illinois native and currently lives on Long Island in Oyster Bay, New York. Needless to say, she’s a die-hard Husker football fan and tries to go to games as often as she can.
