Dr. Saumik Basu, from the University of Washington Department of Entomology, will present a seminar on “Plant responses to above- and below-ground invaders: A saga of their interactions with vectors, vector-borne viruses, and soil microbes.” Dr. Basu is a candidate for the Assistant Professor of Arthropod Vectors of Plant Pathogens at UNL.
