Dr. Swapna Purandare will present a seminar titled, “Ecology and Conservation of Indian Insect Pollinators.” Swapna completed her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Ecology, Evolution, Behavior) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her primary research areas are evolutionary ecology and biodiversity conservation.

Swapna worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln , South Dakota State University, and The Ohio State University before moving to India. She also worked as a Visiting Faculty in the Department of Computational Biology at IIIT-Delhi.
