The title of Dr. Kimberly Morrell’s seminar is “An Entomologist’s experience at Bayer Crop Science, and the value of Industry-University collaborations in next-gen insect control product development.” Morrell has been an entomologist with Bayer Crop Science for the past 8 years. She’s held a variety of roles including conducting field trials and insect rearing, leading controlled environment/laboratory assays, and leading corn field testing of Lepidopteran insects in North and South America. She received her Ph.D. from Cornell University, New York, where she specialized in plant defense chemistry and plant-insect interactions.
