Dr. Teddy Garcia-Aroca, UNL Plant Pathology Dept., will present a seminar titled “Emerging fungal threats to US agriculture.”
Prior to coming to UNL, Garcia-Aroca worked as a postdoc at the University of Albany in New York, where he studied genomics of human and animal bacterial pathogens. He earned both his master’s and Ph.D. degrees at Louisiana State University where he worked on soybean diseases. Garcia-Oroca completed his bachelor’s degree in agronomy at the National University of Agriculture (UNAG).
