Matthew Waite, professor of practice in news-editorial, will deliver the fall Nebraska Lecture at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Nebraska Union Auditorium.
The talk, “The Drone Age is Here, and We’re Screwing it Up,” is free and open to the public.
The possibilities for drones are almost limitless, from improving crowd security at large events, to tracking impending storms, to delivering precision agriculture. Waite will discuss how to unleash the Drone Age’s potential in the fall Nebraska Lecture, which is part of The Nebraska Lectures: Chancellor’s Distinguished Lecture Series. A reception will follow.
