The Office of Research and Economic Development (ORED) is sponsoring a workshop for faculty interested in submitting a proposal to the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program.

Dr. George A. Hazelrigg, a former program officer with 18 years of experience at NSF, will discuss the fundamentals of developing a CAREER proposal in the morning. The afternoon will focus on best practices for writing a strategic career plan and developing compelling CAREER goals and objectives. A complementary lunch from noon to 1 p.m. will provide attendees an opportunity to network with previous CAREER awardees and representatives from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Office of Proposal Development.

To register for the workshop: https://research.unl.edu/events/event2.php?eventID=4212
Registration closes on October 11.
