The Saxophone Studio at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School is proud to announce its opening concert of the 2019-2020 season. Featuring the UNL Saxophone Choir, under the director of Dr. Paul Haar and Daniel Oshiro (GTA), the ensemble will present an evening of Music Stolen for Saxophone. This program is centered around works transcribe specifically for this ensemble. Included are works by Charles Ives (Variations on “America”), Tomaso Albinoni (Concerto Op. 7, No. 5), J.S. Bach (Toccata and Fugue in D Minor), G.F. Hanel, (Concerto Grosso in C Major), Daniel Baldwin (As the Sun Sets), and Antonio Vivaldi (Concerto in D minor). This concert will take place at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 in the Westbrook Recital Hall on the Campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
