In the model of OASIS’s safe spaces to discuss current events, UNITE will lead a discussion of how violence against Native people impacts the UNL community and beyond, and of students’ personal perspectives on the challenges that Native people face. Before the discussion, there will be a short video to sensitize participants on issues of violence against Native people. We will serve free pizza and give away free t-shirts!
