The International Quilt Museum will show a few Native American quilts from their collection. Many Native women raise awareness of MMIW through textiles, and this exhibit contextualizes the importance of textiles to the MMIW movement within the broader history of Native textiles.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Forsythe Family Program on Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs (HRHA), along with other UNL and community partners, will host a week of human rights activities to raise awareness of missing and murdered indigenous women. We invite UNL faculty, students, staff, and members of the community to participate. All events are free.
