A Native panel of experts on community outreach, education and supporting Native youth will convene to discuss community-based solutions to violence and discrimination against Native people, and how the communities within and surrounding UNL can mobilize to address the issue of missing and murdered indigenous women. The panel discussion will be followed by a reception, which will begin at 8:30 pm in the Heritage Room.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Forsythe Family Program on Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs (HRHA), along with other UNL and community partners, will host a week of human rights activities to raise awareness of missing and murdered indigenous women. We invite UNL faculty, students, staff, and members of the community to participate. All events are free.
