Please join the IRB for a training on NIH proposal submissions and IRB requirements. Please feel free to bring your own lunch – snacks will be provided!
By the end of this presentation, attendees will:
• Identify if a proposal requires the completion of the human subjects section in an NIH proposal including the use of secondary data or biospecimens.
• Identify if a proposal would be subject to single IRB requirements. Does the project meet the definition of a multi-site study or cooperative research?
• Navigate and plan for the UNL IRB review process during the time of NIH proposal submission and Notice of Award.
• Learn from a Principal Investigator perspective. Dr. Andy Benson, Dr. David DiLillo, and Dr. Jacques Izard will share their experiences regarding NIH submissions, the review process and conducting NIH funded research.
