Nutrients such as nitrate are important for crop growth, but excess nutrients can enter our water resources and result in negative impacts to human and environmental health. Learn how citizens throughout the state are measuring the levels of nutrients in water across Nebraska with Shannon Bartelt-Hunt, chair and professor in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
This presentation would be best enjoyed by ages 15 and up.
