The Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute is pleased to introduce the “Water for Food Global Forum,” a virtual series of events over a one-month period that will convene leading international experts, growers and organizations to focus on achieving global water and food security. The Forum will focus on integrating knowledge and practice.
For the pre-session (on-demand, watch anytime after Sunday) we will cover some background:
1. Nitrate in Drinking Water: A Public Health Perspective
2. Trends in Drinking Water Nitrate
3. The true cost of nitrate
4. Accelerating Innovation through Collective Action
a. Diffusion of Innovation (the theory behind outreach and extension to encourage behavior change)
b. Nitrate Systems Change (the why, what, and how to address complex systems challenges) attached as well
For the water quality live session, Oct 21st, 9am-2pm:

2. Bazile Groundwater Management Area case study
3. AltEn pollution investigation
