This free one-day training will provide attendees with a general overview of the treatment and assessment of both juvenile and adult sex offenders. Attendees will learn the definition of sexual offender from a legal and clinical perspective, the role of the therapist in the field of sexual offending, and the sexual offender subtypes and typologies. This presentation will also articulate the differences and similarities between adult and juvenile offenders and the respective treatment and multi-disciplinary processes. The assessments, tools, and elements required for conducting psychosexual evaluations will also be covered.

This training has been approved for 7.5 continuing education credits for psychologists and 7.5 Criminal Justice hours.* Credits will be awarded to participants who attend the entire training.

*Continuing education for psychologists may be used by other licensed behavioral health professionals. Please check with your licensing board. Continuing education credit is granted on a one credit per one instructional hour basis.
