Celebrating Freedom! The Malone Center will be holding their annual Juneteenth Celebration Saturday June 17th 12-4pm at Trago Park. They will have live entertainment, food, fun for the kids, and more! Everyone is welcomed.
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion will be hosting an informational table during the Malone Community Center event. Stop by our informational table as we educate, engage, and inform the campus community on the history and importance of Juneteenth.
Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of enslavement in the United States. It acknowledges African American freedom and emphasizes education and achievement.
