DESCRIPTION:Akinbode Okunola is a doctoral candidate in the Department of A
 gricultural Economics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His research 
 focuses on veterinary drug use regulations in animal agriculture sector an
 d their implications for international meat trade and the pursuit of One H
 ealth objectives. Akinbode's dissertation explores the prevalence of veter
 inary drug maximum residue limits (MRLs) and the regulatory behaviors of c
 ountries around the world to mitigate antimicrobial resistance risks assoc
 iated with veterinary drug use in animal production. His research disentan
 gles the demand-enhancing and supply-reducing effects of these regulations
  in the international meat market. Additionally\, he investigates how vete
 rinary-drug MRLs contribute to managing the interconnected health risks be
 tween humans and animals\, thereby addressing antimicrobial resistance cha
 llenges. Akinbode holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Agr
 icultural Economics from the Federal University of Technology\, Akure\, Ni
 geria\, along with five years of professional experience in Nigeria's live
