The program is widely used by grain and livestock producers across the region and is now being tailored to meet the unique need of specialty crop growers. \n\n“We’re glad to bring budgeting functionality for specialty crops to ABC to help those businesses understand their costs of production and better grasp the ir financial situation\,” said Glennis McClure\, an extension educator w ho leads development efforts for the program. “This focus group is an op portunity for us to demonstrate the user-friendly and powerful program whi le hearing from specialty crop producers about their specific needs that w e can help address.”\n\nThe session will include Nebraska Extension educ ators who will demonstrate the Ag Budget Calculator and discuss new sample budgets for commonly grown specialty crops in Nebraska.
