Are you eager to share your best practices, projects, ideas, or expertise with a wider audience? Presenting at conferences can be a powerful way to do just that, but writing a conference proposal can be an overwhelming and intimidating experience. This beginner-level workshop is designed to equip staff members with the knowledge and skills necessary to craft persuasive and effective conference proposals.
Presented by: Celeste Spier, Director, Organizational Development and Training
Biography: Celeste Spier, Ph.D., currently works at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as the Director of Organizational Development. In this role, Spier builds and delivers professional development and mentorship programs for the 4,000+ staff members across campus. She has worked at UNL since 2008 previously as an academic advisor and career coach. Spier holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. In December 2020, she completed her Ph.D. in educational leadership. She is also a certified Gallup strengths coach.
