DESCRIPTION:UNL faculty\, staff\, and graduate students serving on a search
  committee are required to attend an educational seminar covering legal is
 sues and university policies and procedures prior to the first meeting of 
 the search committee. Although not mandatory\, undergraduate students and 
 community members serving on a search committee are encouraged to attend t
 hese educational seminars.\n\nThe seminar is a 60-minute session that cove
 rs the most common issues that arise during the search process. It also pr
 ovides information outlining the process from start to finish. By completi
 ng the seminar\, you will receive a two-year certification to serve on sea
