The Libraries Standards of Conduct were developed and implemented earlier in 2024 to formalize expectations for behavior in our Libraries facilities and spaces. Patrons are encouraged to use our spaces for information discovery, collaboration, scholarly research, and creative endeavors. Our Standards of Conduct empower us to ensure the best possible learning and information environment for our patrons.

This required training will familiarize all faculty and staff on the standards, as well as all of our responsibilities and expectations around addressing the standards.

Learning Objectives
1. Align on the standards of conduct expected in Libraries spaces.
2. Understand our responsibility and expectations as Libraries faculty and staff in upholding the standards of conduct.
3. Identify strategies for overcoming barriers to action.
4. Practice code of conduct violation scenarios.

The training will be held in-person with four different time/day options. Please sign up for the time that works best for you. We have planned the training to be in-person to facilitate the best discussion and engagement experience. That said, if you are unable to attend any time option in-person, please reach out to Jannah to create a zoom link for you to attend virtually. If you are able to attend in-person, we ask that you please do so.
