Faculty and staff in the Libraries are invited together to view an upcoming BTAA webinar on the Revised ADA Title II applications for Libraries. The webinar has limited spots available for registrations/participation. Due to limited spots for registration and attendance and expected high demand for the webinar from our Libraries colleagues around the country, we ask that interested UNL Libraries faculty and staff join together to view the webinar in the Peterson Room.

Join members of the Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) Library Accessibility Group on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 12pm CT for an overview of the new ADA Title II rule changes and their implications for libraries. This webinar will go over what types of library content and resources are impacted by these changes; the exceptions to the revision, copyright, and fair use with these changes; recommendations to raise awareness at your library and prepare policies and services for the rule changes; and available tools and software for remediation and alternate access.
This webinar will briefly go over the Title II rule changes, but focus primarily on the impact for libraries. Past resources and webinars about the rules changes have been put together by the Library Accessibility Group and BTAA.
