Children, families and people of all ages are invited to explore nature and experience multiple nature-based activities in the arboretum and along Prairie Pines Nature Preserve Trails at the Nature Rendezvous event on Saturday, June 24 from 9 am. to 1 p.m. Learn about trees, wildlife, moths, bees, insects, fungus and more! At 10 a.m. guests are invited to join Bob Hendrickson, Nebraska Statewide Arboretum Horticulture Coordinator, for a walk around the Preserve to learn about the wildflowers and plants found there.

The Prairie Pines Nature Preserve trails, Welcome Center and Nature Ninja Course are open to the public every Saturday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No pets, please. Visit https://prairiepines.org/events for more information.
