 stration deadline\: June 3\nFree\, Virtual Cohort\nOpen to all Midwest inn
 ovators with an agricultural innovation\n\n\nAgTech I-Corps\, hosted by th
 e University of Nebraska-Lincoln\, Iowa State University\, and the Univers
 ity of Illinois Urbana-Champaign\, provides a set of skills and entreprene
 urial knowledge that can help innovators transform their research into imp
 act. \n\nIt uses the Lean LaunchPad method to give participants a working 
 knowledge of how to think about their innovation ideas from a business and
  customer perspective\, as well as how to conduct customer discovery inter
 views\, the first step in any commercialization process. \n\nThis free\, o
 nline course is for faculty\, researchers\, postdocs\, and students intere
 sted in practicing and honing their innovation skills. It is open to non-u
 niversity participants as well. This cohort is designed specifically for t
 hose with an agricultural innovation.\n\nBenefits of the Program\n*	Develo
 p best practices for conducting customer discovery and identifying key sta
 keholders.\n*	Learn\, practice\, and hone your innovation skills.\n*	Impro
 ve the odds for commercial success.\n*	Understand market trends and needs 
 in your ecosystem.\n*	Expand your network of like-minded peers\, instructo
 rs\, investors\, customers\, and mentors who are working in the agricultur
 al space.\n*	Obtain eligibility to apply for $50\,000 grant from the Natio
 nal NSF I-Corps team grant (for deep tech\, university-affiliated teams) a
 nd the Great Lakes I-Corps Hub's Boost program.\n*	Prepare for applying to
  the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technolog
 y Transfer programs.\n\nWhy Should You Join the AgTech Cohort?\n*	Material
 s used in the Ag I-CORPS workshops will use agriculture relevant examples.
