Led by Nebraska Tribal Extension Educator, Ted Hibbeler (Sicangu Lakota), this training model will cover indigenous world views, colonization and U.S. relations with tribal nations, the Indigenous Assessment Model, and research and indigenous issues. Faculty who complete this training will have a better understanding on how to engage with tribal communities both in the urban and rural areas. Participants will receive a certificate of completion and be recognized on the Native American Coalition website.
