The four-week Teaching Online Learning Community (ToLC) is designed to guide novice online instructors in exploring the challenges and maximizing the opportunities of the online learning environment. In this program, we focus on aspects of teaching that are unique to the online context. By participating in ToLC, participants gain practical discussions with peers and instructional designers in addition to hands-on work time with real-time feedback on materials and ideas. ToLC participants will also receive a certificate of completion. ToLC is ideal for those new to online teaching or for those looking to refresh their knowledge. Faculty and graduate students are welcome.
