The November meeting of the OLLI Baseball Special Interest Group will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Stauffer’s Cafe and Pie Shoppe. All OLLI Baseball fans are welcome to attend. Topics for November will include:

1. A post Playoff and World Series debriefing session. What were your reactions to the Red Sox winning it all?

2. What do you think of the way managers in the playoffs choose to use their pitching staffs? Have the “Sabermetrics” staffs totally taken over pitching strategy? How do you rate the performances of Dave Roberts, Alex Cora, Craig Counsel, and some of the other managers in the use of the pitching staffs?

3. Alex Gordon won another “Gold Glove.” Did he deserve it?

4. Get out your crystal ball and predict where the following “free agents” will land: 1) Manny Machado, 2) Bryce Harper, 3)Patrick Corbin, 4) Michael Brantley, 5) Craig Kimbrel, 6) Dallas Keuchel, 7) Nelson Cruz, 8) Nathan Eovaldi, 9) Wilson Ramos, and 10) Mike Moustakas.
