The OLLI Baseball Interest Group will meet on Tuesday, Feb 11, 3 p.m. at Stauffer Cafe & Pie Shoppe, 5600 S. 48th St. All OLLI baseball fans are invited to come to Stauffer’s and participate.

Here are some of the topics we will be talking about this month:

- The Red Sox trade Mookie Betts and David Price to the Dodgers. New England reacts as if this is another “Babe Ruth” trade
-The Houston Astro sign stealing plot continues with A.J. Hinch, Alex Cora and Carlos Beltran being fired as ML managers. Is Dusty Baker part of the healing process in Houston?
-Derek Jeter and Larry Walker are new Hall of Famers, joining Ted Simmons and Marvin Miller in the 2020 class. Are they all good selections?
-San Francisco Giants Manager Gabe Kapler hires former Sacramento State softball IB Alyssa Nakken as the first on field female coach in MLB history. Any reaction or a sign of the times?
- Alex Gordon and Greg Holland sign one-year contracts with the Kansas City Royals. Are they trying to re-create the 2015 World Series roster?
- The University of Nebraska baseball season starts Friday, Feb. 14 with a series at Baylor. Some of the Interest Group Husker season ticket holders will give us a Husker preview.
