For July’s learning seminar event, Dr. Palsamy Periyasamy (RDAR Center Pilot-Project Investigator) will present a new paper from his field of research that is relevant to his current project (or to the Center, itself). Dr. Periyasamy will also give an overview of his own RDAR Center research project so that we may all become more informed of the important, ground-breaking work he will be doing in the coming year.

We are also excited to announce that joining us will be Dr. Brendan Jacka and Dr. Stephen Kogut, investigators from a partner Center for Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) as well as Brown University and the University of Rhode Island, respectively. They will also each present a new and interesting paper, as well as overview their own projects with the COBRE on Opioids and Overdose in Rhode Island.
