“This Will Be My Undoing: Living at the Intersection of Black, Female, and Feminist in (White) America” is a collection of linked essays forthcoming in January 2018. In this highly-anticipated debut, Jerkins interweaves her incisive commentary on pop culture, feminism, black history, and racism with her own experiences to confront the very real challenges of being a black woman today.
Morgan Jerkins is a contributing editor at ‘Catapult’ and a Book of the Month judge. Her Work has appeared in ‘The New Yorker,’ ‘The New York Times,’ ‘The Atlantic,’ ‘ELLE’, ‘Lenny Letter,’ ‘Rolling Stone,’ ‘The New Republic,’ and ‘BuzzFeed,’ among many others. She will be reading from her work and leading a discussion about writing, editing, and publishing.
