Katie Brossy, UNL Class of 2001, is a water rights advocate and lawyer. She is Senior Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, one of the most prestigious law firms in the nation. She is a member of the legal team that helped reach one of the largest Indian water rights settlements in US history. Recently she was named one of the ‘Top 40 Lawyers Under 40’ in Washington, DC, and a ‘Woman of Distinction’ by the Lyre magazine. Co-sponsored by OASIS & Fraternity and Sorority Life.
