Ring in spring in a new fun way with us at Setsubun Celebration. The first part of our Setsubun Celebration will take place at the Kawasaki Reading Room for our “Bean Throw”. As a spring festival in Japan, Setsubun is celebrated to bring in the new season. The most popular way this is done is by chasing away the “Oni”—an ogre/demonwho symbolizes bad luck.
