(The UNL Shotokan Karate of America Club dojo was founded in 1994 and continues to be led by David Altman, fifth degree black belt (Godan/Highest SKA Rank) student of Tsutamu Ohshima, founder of Shotokan karate of America. Their guiding principles are to fortify their minds, and bodies, perfect their character, and faithfully transmit the art to future generations. To continue learning karate, no-contract monthly fees are $20 with practices held weekly on the UNL campus. Visit their website at unl.ska.org for more details.)
