Leslie Anne Mcilroy won the 2018 Gemini Flash Fiction contest for her piece, “The Old Point.” Leslie was co-founder of HEArt—Human Equity through Art—and works as a copywriter in Pittsburgh, PA.
Stacey Waite is a poet, educator, and scholar originally from Long Island, New York, is now associate professor and graduate chair in the English Department at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
Saddiq Dzukogi is a doctoral student in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln creative writing program, where he is a recipient of the Othmer Fellowship. He is the author of Inside the Flower Room, selected by Kwame Dawes and Chris Abani for the APBF New Generation African Poets Chapbook Series.
