Theatrix, the student-run theatre company within the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, continues its 2018-2019 season with Speech & Debate, written by Stephen Karam and directed by University of Nebraska student, Ethan Greenlee.
“Three teenage misfits in Salem, Oregon, discover they are linked by a sex scandal that’s rocked their town. When one of them sets out to expose the truth, secrets become currency, the stakes get higher, and the trio’s connection grows deeper in this searching, fiercely funny dark comedy with music,” said Dramatists Play Service.
Speech & Debate contains mature content that may not be suitable for all audiences.
Tickets may be purchased for $7 online by visiting www.unltheatretickets.com or at the door one hour prior to performance in the Lab Theatre’s third floor lobby (cash only; seats subject to availability).
