We are back with our annual celebration of the festival of Holi!! Come celebrate the Indian festival of spring and colors at UNL with FREE COLORS for all participants with Ncard! Learn about the traditions of the festival as you relish FREE FOOD from India!! This time we even have a special street food (chat) section!! The highlight of the event will be SYNCHRONIZED COLOR THROWS!

We envision HOLI will allow us the opportunity of celebrating diversity through the lens of the Indian culture. Coinciding with the explosion of colorful blooms in nature, HOLI has been celebrated for millenniums in the Indian subcontinent and now all over the world. Here at UNL, we envision HOLI playing a similar role of bringing together students belonging to different cultures, religions, and affiliations in a celebratory environment.

If reasonable accommodations such as interpreters, large print, special seating, etc. are needed to accommodate a disability, please contact Pankaj Desai at 402.472.4750 or pankajdesai@unl.edu, to discuss accommodations at least two weeks prior to the Holi event.

This event is open to all UNL students with Ncard.
Rain day alternate date: Sunday, April 21, 2019.
