The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Nebraska Water Center invite you to a seminar featuring Dr. D. Nagesh Kumar, Edward M. Curtis Visiting Professor at Purdue University’s Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering.

Dr. Kumar will explore the growing role of deep learning (DL) in water resources and agricultural engineering, discussing neural networks, remote sensing applications, and real-world case studies. Topics include crop mapping with Sentinel-1 data and chlorophyll content prediction using hyperspectral data.
