The Nebraska Grazing Lands Coalition, along with Legal Aid of Nebraska, the Rural Response Hotline, and Nebraska Extension will present a farm and ranch succession workshop on Nov. 12 in O’Neill, and Nov. 13 in Hartington.
Joe Hawbaker, an Agricultural Law attorney, will discuss succession tools,
use of entities, and taxes. Dave Goeller, retired Extension Farm Transition Specialist, will discuss finance and management issues in
the family context.
We intend to provide reliable information that may assist farm and ranch families in forming business succession plans, or in reviewing their
existing plans. Registration is appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome.
There is no charge to attend. To register, call 1-800-464-0258 or go to nebraskagrazinglands.org.
