Volunteers are needed to engage with the speculative robotics lab every Friday from February 21 - March 28 between 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Care takes many forms, and its future is full of possibilities. The speculative robotics lab is dedicated to imagining and prototyping new ways care might unfold—particularly in hospital settings—through speculative design and futuring. NIC Partners are invited to playtest and co-create future care scenarios where robotics and design intersect with human experience. They engage through ideation, drawing, writing and methods from theater, movement, and live-action role-play, transforming physical space into narrative stages for imagination. Sessions range from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Anyone is welcome to stop by, engage with the speculative and contribute to shaping the future of care.
