Chad Brassil is an associate professor in the UNL School of Biological Sciences, as well as the faculty director of undergraduate analytics. His disciplinary research is in areas such as prairie plant diversity and mercury methylation in lakes. However, much of his current time is spent wrangling data from university back-end databases and format that data in dashboards accessible to instructors for self-reflection on improving student success.
