 e the launch of a new webinar series\, titled Grain Marketing for 2025\, d
 esigned to equip farmers with the knowledge and strategies they need to su
 cceed in today’s ever-changing grain market. The sessions are open to al
 l farmers\, agricultural professionals\, and industry stakeholders.\n\nThe
  Grain Marketing for 2025 series includes five sessions on every other Tue
 sday at noon CT\, beginning Jan. 14. Participants are encouraged to attend
  each session.\n\nSchedule\:\n\nJan. 14\, 2025\, at noon CT\nJan. 28\, 202
 5\, at noon CT\nFeb. 11\, 2025\, at noon CT\nFeb. 25\, 2025\, at noon CT\n
 March 11\, 2025\, at noon CT\n\nEach session will be led by Agricultural E
 conomists Cory Walters and Jessica Groskopf\, who will review and provide 
 insights into managing important topics such as\: World Agricultural Suppl
 y and Demand Estimates (WASDE)\, Cost of Production\, Seasonality and Pric
 e Patterns\, Pre-harvest pricing strategies\, and Crop Insurance contract 
 decisions including SCO and ECO.\n\nThe webinars will help producers navig
 ate the complex process selling grain under unknown information about futu
 re market prices\, yields and high investment costs. Throughout the series
 \, participants will have the opportunity to interact with one another.\n\

DESCRIPTION:Nebraska Extension is offering a valuable opportunity for farme
 rs and ranchers to learn about transition planning at a free workshop on J
 anuary 28\, from 12\:30 p.m. to 3\:30 p.m. The event will take place at th
 e Panhandle Research\, Extension\, and Education Center\, located at 4502 
 Ave I in Scottsbluff.\n\nJessica Groskopf\, Nebraska Extension Educator\, 
 will lead the session\, providing essential tools and strategies for farme
 rs and ranchers to effectively plan and execute estate and succession plan
 s. Participants will also gain insights into common pitfalls during the pl
 anning process and learn critical considerations for successful transition
 s.\n\n“Our goal is to help participants avoid the most common mistake\: 
 recognizing the need for a transition plan but never formalizing it into a
  legal document\,” Groskopf said. “The most frequent feedback we recei
 ve is that attendees wish they had started the process sooner. This worksh
 op will give you the resources to begin a transition plan with confidence.
 ”\n\nAfter Groskopf’s presentation\, local attorneys Libbey Stobel and
  Rick Ediger will be available to answer questions\, providing further gui
 dance on legal aspects of estate and succession planning.\n\nThe workshop 
 is free\, but registration is required by January 27. To reserve your spot
