I will present a talk for two days geared toward those individuals who are new to our Department laboratories and/or new to laboratory work in general. Please share this with your undergraduate student workers.

The talk will address General Laboratory Safety and Best Practices. Topics covered will include: Building safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), chemical storage, chemical disposal, chemical spills, laboratory equipment safety and use, and general application of best practices in the laboratory.
