The Sandhill region of Nebraska serves as a living laboratory to study and communicate the complexities of intact grassland ecosystems, connections to water resources, and the biodiversity that prairies support. Despite a long history of research in the region, much remains to be learned about the Sandhills. This presentation features multimedia content of landscapes and wildlife in the Sandhills and explores ways to increase public awareness of the biodiversity the region sustains, as well as opportunities for research.
