Youth are already tackling the most pressing challenges that society faces and doing so in communities across the world. Their voices, intellect, creativity, and power should be nurtured and cherished. Dr. Norman Borlaug and John Ruan, Sr. believed wholeheartedly in empowering the next generation of trailblazers in food and agriculture. The World Food Prize Foundation is committed to inspiring, engaging, and equipping young leaders to overcome global challenges.
Join alumni of World Food Prize Foundation’s youth programs, including the Global Youth Institute, Borlaug-Ruan Internship, George Washington Carver Internship, and Wallace Carver Internship, as these champions share how their experiences inspired them to join and advocate for youth’s vital role in alleviating global challenges. These key leaders will share their advice for empowering the next generation to positively shape food systems and improve sustainable, nutritious food security.
