DESCRIPTION:Join the Center for Transformative Teaching during the spring s
 emester for an engaging series of digital accessibility workshops designed
  to build practical skills and in-depth understanding of accessibility bes
 t practices. This series includes a blend of tutorial workshops and practi
 ce sessions\, offering participants hands-on learning opportunities to mak
 e their digital course content more inclusive and accessible. \n\nWorkshop
 s\: These workshops provide step-by-step guidance on key accessibility pri
 nciples\, covering topics like document structure\, color contrast\, alter
 native text\, and more.\n\nPractice Sessions\: In these interactive sessio
 ns\, participants will work on making their own course documents accessibl
 e. These guided practice sessions offer a collaborative environment to tro
 ubleshoot challenges and receive personalized feedback from instructional 
 designers\n\nWhether you’ve been working to make your courses more acces
 sible or are completely new to implementing digital accessibility\, this s
 eries will equip you with practical skills to make a meaningful impact. Jo
 in us to learn\, practice\, and advocate for digital accessibility! \n\nAl
 l workshops will take place from 1\:30 – 3\:00 pm on Zoom. All sessions 
 will be hands-on\, and you will be working with provided examples as well 
 as your own course content. For sessions on a specific program\, you shoul
 d have the desktop application of the program installed (for example\, in 
 the Word session you will need to use the desktop Word application\, not t
